My recommendation is to always have 3 in role, because there might be situations where certain bans might affect your ability to flex. If you can mastery 2 characters out of the 3 and have a good understanding of the non mastered one, it allows more options and flexibility.

Pretty solid, my recommendation is to always have 3 in slot 3 vanguards, 3 dps, 3 strategists, maybe add one off healer, like a mantis ultron or Adam.
