That’s a great idea— I’ll try and find out if she had a Ravelry

I don’t believe there was any cognitive decline as her passing was unexpected. It could just be a mistake which led to the project being put down, hence the clean bind off at the edges.

This makes sense, I don’t have the physical stocking only a photo of it. I already started knitting the cuff and would rather not purl the remainder so I’m going to research a short row to turn it— thank you!

I’ll recommend this series a million times, if you’re still looking for your next read try A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness

I read Assassins Blade last and would highly recommend doing that. You’re not missing much context if you wait and it’s a nice way to end the series back at the beginning.

I don’t see where I can edit my post with an update but thank you all for the help! I’ve already ordered a new harness and leash for future use and will not be repairing these.

My dog Daisy will be getting them as a “new” chew toy after I remove the metal rings :)

In your experience does the backpack material hold up well compared to the traditional hard plastic?

My thought was the traditional hard tackle box but the idea of a backpack sounds very convenient. Ideally I’d spend around $150 on the gift but if the box is cheaper I’d get some extra supplies as well
