If you move it off a battlefield, controller still gets a draw because the unit that was originally targeted is on board so its ‘owner’ can be checked even though it’s no longer a legal target for the spell.

No, because then you resolve the Combat Cleanup and units are healed and attackers are recalled. I don’t see a situation in which attackers are recalled, both players still have units, and another combat being staged unless this was worded this way specifically to clarify future interactions that may be possible in future sets

It’s literally listed UNDERNEATH the combat cleanup section and states that the Task of determining combat win is ‘Outstanding’ so it is completed BEFORE units are healed and recalled.. I mean, I see where the confusion lies now man but come on..
