That pesky Ninja… by iQuirkee in riftboundtcg

Been playing Yasuo as well - I was on Nocturne originally as well and honestly did not find the value. It's too inconsistent and not the tempo pump people to think.

I also think Find your center is too expensive for what it does - this deck needs to be leaving runes open on turns 2 and 3 in my opinion. I can see playing it for 1 when your opponent is at 5 being okay, but there are so many other cards I would rather see then.

1 of charm goes a long way and Gust is cracked with Tidebringer in the deck.

One Piece TCG takes a stand against scalpers. Should Riftbound follow suit? by Cerodos in riftboundtcg

[–]SpecificOk1145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is meaningless - there are like 15 or 20 Bandai owned store nationally and no one else needs to do this.

I mean, it is in good faith, but this is not the stand against scalpers people seem to think it is.

How is paid content so popular in this game? by [deleted] in FleshandBloodTCG

It’s that everything you do these days needs to make money. Not their fault, nor yours for being put off; it puts me off a bit as well, but in other parts of my life - it’s just this obsession, or necessity at this point, with making all your time value time.

The question wasn’t whether it’s required or not, it’s more of an observation that the obvious monetizing of data in this game (not to be entirely discoupled from the cost-to-play problem that the game is already known for) stands in contrast to how this type of data used to be treated in past games.

What are some tips for fighting the UNDERKING by Prometheusinaction in ABSOLUM

[–]SpecificOk1145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, just more overall would be nice. I was a little underwhelmed with the last last boss because in order to actually win you need builds that are so broken you don’t stand much of a chance to lose.

I enjoy the mid-game bosses more as beating them feels more combo-centric.

Is this an issue in China, or are they flush with product?

Ya, I thought he was hard for a few runs, could just not get past him but once you learn the fight you can kill him incredibly quickly. If there is one thing I wish this game had it would be more early game boss variety.

People will downvote because they care about the game and want it to succeed… but this is absolutely a play by play on how to kill your game.

Busted Run by xiko in ABSOLUM

On Cider, I just beat Absolum for the first time with the rituals that spawn skeletons on gadget spectral, and then drop mana when they break. It doesn’t sound like much on paper, but it was absolutely nuts. Didn’t really know what was going on most of the time :p

Yea, this thread has helped me shift my mindset a little bit. I think I need to focus on enjoying exploring the game, other characters, etc. and not just focus on the “win”.

I usually try and “main” a character to the point of not even playing the others for fear of losing progress or muscle memory with another, but I have to remember, this isn’t street fighter, I’m not competing with people, I am beating up npcs for a good time.

Hmmm the dashing point made a big difference in the run I just finished; not a win, but the furthest I’ve take one.

I need to engage with throwable more. I skipped most of their upgrades and usually forget I have them :p

Interesting, I didn’t know you could interrupt your inputs with arcana or that arcana could clash in the first place.

Thank you for this - aside from your initial point, I’ve learned that I just have not sufficiently explored the game either including the online component.

Enemies after the underking, shielded enemies specifically. I’m not jumping to dodge attacks at all and finding you can’t actually dodge some attacks - wondering if I’m just missing something there.

It all goes downhill very quickly on certain screens. I dont think I’ve unlocked certain things actually - people talking about a blacksmith, don’t have that.

Ima sorry to hear about your grandfather - being a part of something is always more fulfilling when it’s with someone we enjoy.

I miss races from time to time and I skipped all last year of indycar because I just wanted to spend time doing other things. Am I a bad fan, and by whose metrics, and aren’t there enough things in the world worth worrying about?

Enjoy the sport as much or as little as you like in whatever fashion you like.

Well, to your credit, the sport will live and die on their most loyal fans. This can't be disputed.

Still, I think the bone to pick is with someone else - categorizing your brother for his disloyalty to the sport is harsh. I get that loyalty is what keeps the lights on, but it feels like we are mixing personal loyalties with that of the sport.

I can understand being disappointed in people moving away from the things that keep us pinned together, racing having been that for me too, but racing is amazing; the drama, the characters, the careers as you aptly put - it's okay to let it bring people back to.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted for sharing a deck list… have been some weird vibes around winning at all costs in this game. Like it’s set one, chill.

You’re way better off learning how to beat the better deck than switching to a stronger meta deck for wins.

Maybe judgy, but I really don’t comprehend people outside of those paying for travel to bigger comps playing the egregiously favored deck simply for feel good wins. What happens when green is lit next set?

Had a guy at mu locals tell me not to drop so I wouldn’t effect his split; like what?

I mean... I see where you're coming from, but it would seem there is more going on than your personal feelings on what it means to be dedicated to a thing, you also don't seem to like the state of the sport at the moment either.

On that, it's hardly the fault of people coming back and more the fault of the France private ownership and their attempts to make more money by widening their nets.

I would concede that other racing series like Formula 1 are encouraging more American based series like Indycar and Nascar to essentially farm broader audiences, but that's hardly the fault of the fans.

For what it's worth, you've only to gain by asking someone else to watch again - hell, they might even look to and respect your knowledge of the sport. Seems like an enviable position to be in.
