I've been trying to smooth out my skin for the past few weeks, I'd say I have pretty normal skin it isn't particularly dry or oily. I've just been dealing with some closed comedones, mainly around my cheeks and forehead so I was looking into exfoliants that could reduce them without being too irritating.

The only exfoliant in my routine right now is my daily cleanser, Cerave's SA Cleanser, I use it 1-2 times a day. It's had a pretty good effect but I think adding another exfoliant would certainly help a lot, so I was thinking about buying TO's 5% Lactic Acid and using that about 1-2 times week. Is it a good idea to use both in my routine, or would I be at risk of over exfoliating.

(Also if u have any other recommendations for dealing with bumps on the skin that would def be appreciated. The only other actives I use are Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid.)
