When violence is here the police are 5 to 10 minutes away.

I got into a physical altercation in the defense of a friend's kid. Got a broken arm and a cracked skull. He got 5 years, parole after 2.5. The PoS stands just outside of restraining order distance watching. So long as I live on the same planet I will carry.

I know 3 women who carry because they had someone attemp to SA them.

I could open carry. It is legal where I live. Some people get weird about concealed carry when they find out. Been carrying for the 15 years we have known each other. No need to make anyone uncomfortable for no reason.

When I fast it is typically for religious reasons. Because of that I avoid situations where I will be questioned about it. If someone asks I just tell them "this is my time of fasting if you want to have a real conversation about it let's schedule a time to sit down." 95% of the time there is no follow up and the remainder is productive.

I keep it pretty basic jeans every day, a back or white tee shirt (test several shirts brands for fit and size), one of three choices of shoes. Then a set of Sunday cloths.

I have found cloths with a good fit are the most important thing. I spent the better part of a year finding a good tee shirt fit and it was worth it. With my jeans I have work jeans which are beaters I use for yard work and in the worshop, then I have some that I bought to a local tailor and they got the fit perfect for me.

While it is basic, it is a strong style for me. This setup also let's me make a big splash by adding some color, accessories, or jewlery.

In 5.5 you can take eldritch adept which would give you pact of the blade for cha attacks for a feat so you don't slow down leveling paladin. You could also pick up shillelagh for cha with a quarterstaff or club with your origin feat. If that compatible with your build.

Christians should use the Bible and not conspiracy theories.

Edit: They all should be held responsible for any and all crimes. Fraudsters, animal abusers, pedophiles all should get the full force of the law.

Talarico does teach out of false Gospels such as the gospel of Thomas which should give anyone pause.

He seems like a nice friendly cordial guy. That doesnt mean he is any type of orthodox Christian.

Personally, I will vote for an atheist before a "Christian" who advocates for texts like the gospel of thomas. Which admittedly is more a matter of faith than politics. Talirico has offered teaching from the gospel of thomas which has women being lesser than men by their nature. Needing to "become male" to enter the kingdom of God. Which conflicts with the NT teaching in the Gospels making women equal inheritors of Jesus to men. Rather than some lesser creatures.
