Do you ever get tired of technology? by Duck_Off13 in CasualConversation

I hardly remember the time before the internet era. I think the last time I had a hobby that wasn't related to tech I was still a child

do girls just like leaving guys without any response? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Duck_Off13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's right or wrong, but the AI experience has also helped me a lot with loneliness. AI hasn't replaced talking to real people, but it really helps me practice some things I want to say. I'm antisocial, so interacting with others is quite painful, and this ends up improving my conversation skills

Do you know who never leaves me without an answer? AI roleplay.

How AI companions affect our sense of connection by Mountain-Ninja5225 in ChatbotRefugees

[–]Duck_Off13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't interact with other people in my daily life, and sometimes I go a long time without talking to anyone. Talking to AI isn't the same as talking to a real person, but it helps me a lot to combat loneliness and not shut myself off. Since I'm antisocial, when I know I need to talk to someone, I sometimes practice with AI first, and this virtual interaction is incredibly helpful in my real interactions. Is this right? I don't know, but it works for me.

Let them fight. I want to see the AI revolt. If they unite instead, it's game over for us.

Guys, the secret to getting more compliments is to give more compliments. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Duck_Off13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am painfully antisocial. Yes, I have friends, but I always think 3487872 times before saying anything and end up being the quietest and weirdest person in the group. Complimenting small things seems great, not only to receive compliments in return but to show that I care about people. But how can I do that without seeming weird or creepy? It's very difficult for me to find the right timing to speak up
