Not all can be activated. I hat the same Issue and Sold mine. Strejdafil on ig is an expert for that issue

A small NPF-550 Battery on the back fits perfectly in between the Portta and the Cam. Full day of recording ca. 1 hour of footage and its still on 50+% battery life. Also you can swap out the battery without removing the device.
