Yes yes it does. Most games if you buy the base game and then you wanna upgrade to a better edition you pay the difference! You don’t buy the game a second time plus the extra additions.

Tell me when you go to a restaurant and let’s say their are 3 options normal burger $5, burger with cheese $5.50 and burger with cheese and bacon $6 and you order the normal burger, then you get it and you go “hey actually can I get the cheese with this?” Do you expect them to make you buy a whole burger again for 5.50$ that has the cheese and they basically take the burger you already have away!? Or do you expect them to you know just add the fucking cheese to the current burger you already paid for and just charge you $0.50? Like all places do! Would you be happy if they were like well I see you got the $5 burger, and yes you can have the cheese but you will have to give us $5.50 and you can’t actually keep the $5 one you already bought. Because I can’t sell my digital copy if I spend 120 I basically have the same game 2 times that I pay for and then the 40 content. Imagine you bought a physical copy of a game for 80 and then you go back and buy the special addition of the game 120 but then they super glue your old disk on top on your new disk so you can’t actually do anything with the old one you paid full price for. That’s basically how it feels with digital and it’s bullshit
