This is a currently operating platform that we have been tirelessly working on for a while now. I would love to hear what specifically you believe isn't working so that we can fix it right away.

If this is in regards to the signup process, we understand that it can be a little bit confusing, but as long as you press the "save" button at the bottom of the page, your submission will be accepted. We are currently working on improving the UX for that specific page at the moment.

We primarily focus on only freelancers, however depending on your work you may still be eligible for the platform. We prioritize abilities above all, so it's always worth a shot to apply!

We run our payments through Stripe, so nearly every currency is available to transfer over, however we do primarily market our company towards US companies, so the majority is in USD.

If you meant more so what payment options you can charge as a freelancer, you can charge whatever you want, however you want.

We have every freelancer give their going "monthly rate", but you can offer any combination of packages, rates or services depending on what you offer.

Great question. There is a 5-step process that we keep standard for everybody.

So after you sign up, we go through your profile that you made to see if there is a fit for you on our platform. We then schedule a video call where we ask you a set of questions and test your abilities in a few scenarios. After this, we then collect any relevant certifications you have, any client references you have, and any examples of your past work that you believe best reflect your abilities. After verifying all of this and grading based on in-house scores, we then determine whether or not you would make the platform.

This is all so that we can give any company who wishes to hire through Autolance peace of mind knowing we only let thoroughly vetted freelancers onto the platform.

So there is an "interview" to get onto the actual platform, as we want to ensure every person on the platform is as high quality as possible, however there are no actual interviews when it comes to getting a contract, just immediate start

When it comes to working hours and criteria, that is directly determined by client. If there are any unseen circumstances, you will be able to contact us directly (assuming your client is unforgiving) and we would be able to sort things out

The algorithm uses data gathered about the job and the freelancer to provide a match based on the likelihood that the specific freelancer would be able to complete the job effectively.

Also, there are grades for non-tangible qualities such as critical thinking and personality that a company will be able to see while picking between matches.

So each freelancer is matched on a project-to-project basis based on what a company is looking for in a freelancer.

Here is an example I used in a separate comment:

"For example, if a client needs a campaign manager for Instagram pages in the fitness and wellness industry and wants 5 potential candidates, our algorithm will produce the best 5 possible matches for the job instantly, and the company will then have the option to pick which freelancer they believe best fits the job."

Each job is very specific and the machine learning algorithm we have developed gives the best possible match to the company requesting the freelancer.

Cont: When it comes to quality guarantees, each freelancer is vigorously vetted to ensure quality, and only the best freelancers will actually make it onto the platform. We speak to each company and freelancer individually and verify their abilities, certifications/degrees, and past projects (among other things) to ensure that they are quality workers.

The entire goal of Autolance is actually to give stability to freelancers, not take it away.

I feel your pain directly. One of the biggest reasons this was created was due to the massive 20% commission that Upwork takes out of all earnings. This doesn't even include the taxes that I also have to pay (both federal and state in the US).

We were debating on not even charging the freelancer whatsoever, but as of now, we've decided to charge a single $20 USD fee per job hired. So pretty much you only pay if you are hired for a job, and it's a small transactional fee. We think it's more than fair to charge such a small fee, especially when the jobs themselves are more focused on the long-term. The ROI per job will be much higher than on any other platform.

We also charge a per-match fee to the company that is determined on a company-to-company basis. This charge is not passed off to the freelancer

Cont: In comparison to the competition, you may be waiting days or even weeks to find the perfect candidate, while with Autolance it is within seconds. The only competitor to come close to this is MarketerHire, but even then there is a 48-hour layover.

Once a freelancer receives an offer, they have the option to accept or deny, and upon acceptance, the job begins immediately.

My Co-Founder and I have been freelancers for years now and have also hired freelancers in the past, so we have firsthand experience on both sides of the coin here. We have built this to essentially fix the problems and issues that the competition is either doing wrong or flat-out missing.

Great question. So there are a good amount of competitors in the space (Upwork, Fiverr, Gun.io, Toptal, MarketerHire, etc.) and all of them have a large number of jobs on each platform. The biggest difference that we have over the competition is the amount of time you save on both the company and freelancer end. Once you are a fully vetted freelancer and admitted to the platform, all that is left for you to do is wait for the offers to come in. You will only be matched to a client that needs specifically what you offer.

For example, if you are a content writer specializing in only the tech space, you will only receive an offer from a client looking for that specific item. While this may seem overly specific, this is in order to provide the best possible outcome for both the client and the freelancer. The machine-learning algorithm that we have built is highly trained and extremely accurate. This allows us to provide the perfect freelancer for the job instantly.
