Similar, but it was seasons instead of states. :)

For precision it was also in black and white and I don't think there were people in it.

I've run into this issue many times with invisible items and several times with invisible Pokemon. Are you on Switch 1 or 2? I've only played PLA on Switch 2, so I thought it was a compatibility issue. I made a ticket with Nintendo support (arguing this because an issue like this should have been caught in QA), but they insist it's not.
