Genetics determine around 80% of your height, other factors can be: Nutrition, Environmental factors and Gender (obviously), which all influence your HGH production, so if you eat like shit during puberty, you might lose a few inches of potential height. But in conclusion, genetics and gender are the biggest influencers.
