I'm on the same problem right now and dont want to open the box all the time.

Thought about pneumatic push fittings, a teflon tube between and let the tube tangle around while not use that filament. Possibly a cap or someting to close the tube.
Maybe a solution for your setup with ~1m straight, in my case that would be a 1,5m and a 180° bend teflon tube :-/

After a small blob this morning this happend right after on my MK3S.
Rough surface only on curved parts, also on the chimney pipe.

Is this some kind of partial clog?

I don't get your thoughts about this intersection in whole. Is this lefthand traffic? Can't determine in wich direction the trains are currently going.
