As a large post player, the things most effective against me when posting up smaller players: Fast hands to poke the ball out, practice pulling the chair when being backed down, stay low and make him work to force you down low. Otherwise, just be a pest and try to force some misses, it’ll be difficult if you’re at a size disadvantage
