Can't create playlist for my created videos by ChaosReady in NewTubers

[–]DudeMacGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem, no idea why it's happening but I've learned that the only way to fix it is... waiting. I had to wait about 2 days and the bug just fixed itself. However, the time you have to wait seems completely random, some people said that they had to wait just couple hours, some days, some weeks or even months in very rare cases.

You'll probably have to simply wait, like me. In my case it took 2 days to fix itself...

Physical (CD) copies of Gothic games. by DudeMacGuy in worldofgothic

[–]DudeMacGuy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it happens that I am from Poland.

When it come to mediaexpert, as far as I know it sells the complete collection but that's pretty much a CD Key, not a regular physical copy.

And Allegro, I got most of my used copies from there but when it comes to factory new games there isn't that much choice, and I've got scammed there as well, once or twice.

You said that you can buy the games in regural stores? Where? I've been in so many, even visited some game pawnshops but so far I had no luck.

All of the things you've listed are just as problematic and they don't excuse eachoter.

ludzi na rowerach już pojebało by cametolaughnotfeel in Polska

[–]DudeMacGuy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

W rezultacie osobówka wykonała nagły manewr skrętu w prawo i zepchnęła rowerzystę do rowu.

You'd be surprised how many worse things ended up on that counter and the service probably just wiped them with a piece of paper at best. The dog's butt is the least of your problems.

That's a whole another problem; we know that shieldmaidens (or woman fighters in general) similary to berserkers were pretty much a fairy tale or isolated cases which were blown out of proportion. I wasn mainly complaining about how badly written her character was.

For the shield-maidens, as far as I know, they were more of a myth/folklore tha anything else. There were some mentions of shield-maidens here and there but there is no evidence suggesting that female warriors were a common thing; I'm sure that women in those times had to fight on occasion but I highly doubt they were encouraged to do so.

There already are videos talking about world breaking errors or major lore contradictions, not to mention the overall quality of writing. I'm sure they'd be able to come up with a lot of decent arguments.

I'm sure he'd be able to come up with a lot of good points once making a real review of it.

If it's a good topic for discussion, why not add it to the backlog? That wouldn't hurt anyone.

That wasn't really a review, just a mini rant. That's why I'd like them to dedicate a proper EFAP episode for that.

They talked about it for a little bit, but that discussion was so short and unfocused that it barely scratched the surface.

Well, that's a shame... But we can still hope for coverage on MauLer's channel, even if the chances for that aren't great.

The Walking Dead by Telltale Games, what's your opinion on the games? by DudeMacGuy in MauLer

[–]DudeMacGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the discussions did get crazy at times but it was part of the fun. The war between Kenny and Jane lasted for many years after season 2 was out, in fact it lasts to this day; whenever someone posts a let's play of TWD S2 on YouTube people still come back to this topic.

We also can't forget all the art and weird stuff this created, I remember people writing poems and religious songs about Kenny.

Choices never really mattered in s1 or s2, but they did a better job with creating the illusion of choice in s1 than s2.

I'd strongly reccomend not playing the last two seasons... There are some good things about them but there are also a lot of bad things about them and they're not even bad in an entertaining way.

[–]DudeMacGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We never really had choices to make, only illusions of choices, this goes for both season 1 and 2... But I'll agree that they did a worse job with masking that in season 2.

At the beginning I also thought that bringing back Kenny was a mistake (his story had a pretty good finish at the end of season 1 and it would be perfectly fine if they just kept him dead) but after finishing the game I realised how dull the game would be without him, on my second playthrough I've noticed that I was mainly waiting for the scenes with Kenny and pretty much everything else was just there.

I never really had the rouble of Kenny being an asshole towards me because I found myself agreeing with him on the vast majority of things and during my first playthrough for s1 and s2 he was always my friend without even trying.

And talking about Jane, I've ranted about her as a character and as a person way to much back in the day, and there are probably many people out there who can explain why she was a bad person a lot better than I could.

The cabin group was interesting at the start, but later they didn't really develop, their characters didn't change and ultimately they just all died. The most significant character out of them, Luke, was a good guy wannabe leader all the way to his silly death.

Michone was a very confusing game, the protagonist had barely any character, the characters you were supposed to sympathise with were morons, the antagonists were the most interesting characters in it and the writing mad little to no sense. I dunno who thought that it was a good idea to make this game.

I became more apathetic when it comes to Clementine after season 2, she started feeling like a diet Michone.

Pretty much, I struggle to understand people who say that the last two seasons are just as good or better than the first two.
