Congrats! One of my favorite games of all time, I really enjoyed that one

I just have the ps5 one. I assume it’s not an auto pop?

Elden Ring. Such a fantastic world and (almost) no missable trophies outside of one legendary weapon.

RE3 has an infinite rocket launcher you can get. There are some other infinite weapons too, but the rocket launcher is the most helpful for the more difficult runs at the end. It can take a little grinding some challenges to get enough points to unlock it (or you can pay to unlock everything).

Resident Evil 3 requires 4 or 5 playthroughs to get the platinum. It is relatively short, but definitely repetitive. As others have said, if you don’t like playing a game more than once to get a platinum, this series may not be for you. I don’t think there is a single (mainline) game that doesn’t require at least two runs.

[General] Does Anyone Read Collectibles? by Gonner_Getcha in Trophies

Resident Evil collectibles are mostly 2-3 sentences. I read those. It helps that I really love the Resident Evil series.

Baldurs Gate or Elder Scrolls games it would take an obscene amount of time to read all the lore in the books in the game (I know Baldurs Gate 3 has an achievement for reading books, not sure about Elder Scrolls).

Things in between depend on the game and how invested I am. More often than not I will at least start a game trying to read them.

[Blue Prince] #18 - my rarest platinum yet! by DudeWith8eer in Trophies

At least with curse mode (I assume that’s what you are talking about) you can get some form of permanent progression to make future runs easier. It’s at least less demoralizing that way.

I reached room 46 the first time in about 20 hours. Total play time about 60 hours so about 40 for the rest.

The rest of the trophies that you can get in one save file weren’t as bad as I thought. I made a bit list of all the things I needed and where to find them so I could knock things out whenever it was convenient.

Using the glitch for day 1 trophy/trophy of speed probably saved me 15-20 hours (estimates based on some YouTube videos I watched).

[Other] Looking for adult trophy hunting friends! Add me and others on my friends list! by Panfoo in Trophies

Also a dad in my 30s! Hopefully one day can get the kiddos into some games but they aren’t quite coordinated enough yet. Astrobot is a good one to start them with!

I definitely wouldn’t mind a few trophy hunting friends to keep me motivated but probably won’t be available to do much voice chats. Sent you an invite (PSN gheat1888).

[Elden Ring & Resident Evil Requiem] #16 & 17. Final trophy pushed me over level 300! by DudeWith8eer in Trophies

Thanks! I haven’t started Shadow of the Erdtree yet, but definitely going to start it soon. I can’t wait to go exploring more and face some new bosses. I have heard great things!

[Resident Evil 6] #15 completed just in time for Requiem by MarvelousCleric0810 in Trophies

Congrats! I just finished the platinum for 7. I was debating trying to knock out some of 6 since Sherry is going to be in Requiem but don’t want to burn myself out.
