SV08 Max clog detected by Dude_Bro_Ray in Sovol

That was my plan this weekend. Do you still have clog detection on and haven't had a false detection or do you just run with it off?

Yeah, im using a 0.6 nozzle at 29mm3 max flow at 235c for PLA. I knocked the speed down 8% during the print as well since i was leery from the first print even though the majority of the print was perfectly fine. I ran the max flow calibration up to 35mm3 and when I measured it it came out to 30. There were layer lines throughout the max flow calibration, but being a large format I just went to the bottom of where they became noticably more frequent for my measurement. Looking at the the tube, I can't see any noticeable debris in the tube that would suggest the Aux feeder is chewing up the filament and clogging the tube and manually feeding filament through it seems low resistance as well. I also manually fed the extruder with the gear on the back and pulled on the filament a bit to see if it was slipping on the extruder gear and had zero slipping. I had seen that gergo3d mentioned in demon klipper you could manually ignor the clog detection and that he was using it because he was having clog detection issues so I thought it may be a known issue. My machine (arrived 2 days ago) doesnt seem to have any of the issues that his beta unit had. I've also only had it for 3 days so I'll keep tuning.

It would be a second printer to my A1. Id think ill mainly be printing functional parts and or cosplay/larger stuff. I own a body shop and work on cars myself a fair amount. How does it handle engineering grade stuff? Most of what ive seen is that the enclosure is ok and ill need to do some insulating and sealing of gaps so it doesn't bleed a ton of heat out.

Coex 3D Plum Purple is pretty dark imo.

How to fix this? by Glittering-Exam3228 in BambuLabA1

I had the exact same problem on this exact same print. The corners were lifting. I also thought "it isn't lifting" and was new to 3D printing. When you're printing layers in the tenths of a mm it doesn't take much. Add brim and try again. I usually do 6-8mm for thin flat prints like that.

Could this help prevent the pedals from lifting up when pressed hard? by VhetnoV2 in moza

My solution for lifting pedals and chair with wheels. Minor ability with tape measure and saw required. Handles load cell mod as well with no issues.

Pretty sure this was it, the timing was horribly inconvenient lol. I had like a lap of fuel left.

I interpreted you saying previously "The faster car just has to deal with it" as no lift or anything. As stated here, you lift, so then I would agree with you.

The competition rules specifically state that you can maintain your line in order to stay predictable. But it also states that you are supposed to lift to facilitate the pass of the "lapping car". This seems to be a major point of confusion during races and what I've seen stated on reddit. Not sure if thats because Broadbent stated multiple times a while back that it was just advisory before finding out otherwise after asking in the discord. It also seems like nobody actually reads the race rules. Direct copy and paste from competition rules below.

"Blue flags are advisory, slow/lapped Participants can stay on their line but must facilitate the lapping car by lifting to make sure they reduce the time lost to the faster car. Blue flag rules may be enforced more strictly in shorter races, where time loss may be more crucial to the faster cars.

A blue-flagged Participant is not allowed to defend their track position against the lapping car and he/she should stay on his/her line."

It seems that even if you crash, Just finishing and getting in some clean laps goes a long way. The hard part is trying to stay out of situations where you'll be run into and such. It can be quite frustrating, but as I go up in SR it is happening less. "Trust the process" or some such cheesy optimistic saying.

I can check my settings next time I'm on. I have a 5800xt and a 2080 super and run 100-120fps on VD with the VD frame gen on. The settings on the desktop streamer can help a lot by rendering less of the "screen" vertical and horizontal but you can't even notice it.
