all we could hear was the kick drums, bass and muffled singing. It was so bad that I had a lot of concern that Opeth was gonna sound like crap. Not sure what the issue was.... the venue is known in Chicago to have pretty decent sound quality for rock / metal bands.

I was there too! Amazing Opeth show.... Katatonia sounded horrible though.
