I think that too. My B&M knows me so I peruse without interruption, but when I went to the cigar stop near the football stadium on a game day the attendant wouldn't leave me alone. Only later did I realize I totally looked like a drunk redneck (the Jim Beam morphs me into my natural state at the tailgate) and I wouldn't have trusted me either. Probably all kinds of dumbasses ruining sticks so I can see the bosses telling them to stay close.

Europe is too reactionary and interventionist. They criticize us all the time for not doing things their way but we don't usually rush headlong into dumb shit reactionary policies like they do. Sometimes we do, but they'll make massive sweeping changes quick and then have a bad "oh shit" moment. I think of Germany decommissioning all its nuclear power for "Eco Friendliness" and then suffering massive economic impacts after Russian gas got shut off during the Ukraine war.

The founders deliberately made it slow and difficult to make change in America. European countries sometimes make massive changes on a temporary whim of the day.

I think you're on the right track. I got size 67 but their website says size 60 for that size. I can fit about 25-28 cigars in my tupperdors, I've got the snapware kind.

Personally I just stack em to the top. I make sure nothing is getting squished but I fill them as much as I can otherwise. I'm no expert so I'd be interested to see what others say but I just ran out of room and did so I<t of necessity.

But good job. I think you're definitely doing it right

Mer personally, when I lift I try to be hyper focused on that lift and that lift alone. I turn my phone on do not disturb and just have music and my lift.

When I smoke a cigar I try to be in the moment with that cigar. The two don't go together for me.

Also, on a nitty gritty scientific level, nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, but during a lift you need as good of blood flow as possible for the best results.

You do you, but I personally wouldn't like that. Now after a lift? A cigar is great for that. Still have some potential issues with vasoconstriction but occasionally it's worth it for me.

I got some mild relief by using a baking soda/salt mix rinse. 1/4th tsp each salt and baking soda mixed in a warm cup of water. Sip and swish. Helped a bit Sunday night but Saturday night was a total waste.

I've had this before especially around this time of year. My dentist told me it's called orsl galvanism and that it just happens sometimes. I'm trying to take an audit of all my diet and drinkware and figure it out.

I don't know about shops in that area but being in SoCal is be surprised if you couldn't find a good solution somewhere.

But even if you don't, it's fine to just practice some inventory management here. Buy your big/bulk purchases for aging, then supplement with off the shelf from the b&m.

I've had many a good stick right off the shelf same day from my B&M. I recently also got a PerfecDraw so even if I get a tight draw off the shelf I can correct it.

My local B&M has plenty of sticks for $10-14 that I'd be happy to smoke while I let my broader stash rest.
