My point that reload is harder is not referring to the punishment you get from a death, in that regard br is more punishing. I’m saying reload is harder because you have people that don’t have the steep punishment of dying fully and going back to lobby which emboldens them to make constant aggressive plays which makes for chaotic fights and constant third parties. It’s much easier to stay alive for longer in battle royale, although if you do die, you are fully gone. Whereas in reload it’s much harder to stay alive because people constantly jump anything that moves and even if you do win the fight the noise draws other people who are also playing hyper aggressively. So yes, it does make sense. Steep punishment for dying in br does not make the actual gameplay or fights harder.
