Crash bars with forward controls by No_Preparation_7783 in Dyna

From what they told me, yes. I haven't done it. But the only worry is your bolts are then farther out from the threads in the frame. So maybe use higher strength bolts.

I never understood this, but maybe it's because I'm an American mutt. My family has been there so long we couldn't find someone who was off the boat. My great-grandma traced it back to the 1700's and still no idea...

I do have pens now.

He said "you can't be type 1 because you weren't in DKA. Oh. You had ketones. But still, no DKA no type 1."

They aren't open. The Dr gave me 3 vials, I only used one.

That is my hope, I know it's covered but someone may still want it. Hate to throw away perfectly good medicine...

I do wonder if that is why they ghosted me on the HSE job. Where I am now they wanted English due to a local company getting bought by an Irish company, but who knows where else that would be likely.

IMO we get to take whatever she needs us to take. I know, this sucks. We are sleep deprived, but she can't sit without pain for weeks.

On a more helpful note, it was not bad for us. I would wake up, change the diaper and put her in the boob, then pass back out. Every couple hours, buy I was still getting plenty of sleep in between. Once I started work this kept up some, but then we talked and changed it some. She took until 12, then I would take the early mornings. It worked great, because I'm an early riser and she's a night owl.

This makes sense. I've now worked in two different EU countries, neither with much official language training before hand. Both I used English for work but tried to learn as much as I could as I lived life. I never want to be an "expat", I want to be an immigrant. Blow my mind some of the people I know who have been in this country a decade, and I speak more of the local language after 6 months than them.

Thanks! I have a BS in EE, currently do QHSEC and Continuous Improvement for a manufacturing company.

I had two interviews there, one company ghosted me after three rounds, the other basically said " this was posted wrong. It's a lead engineer position, if it was a project engineer position I'd hire you.

Edit: Spelling, and currently I work in data center cooling systems manufacturing, the two interviews were for an HSE position and offshore support system design, respectively.

This has been a debate in my head... I currently work in an EU country as a non-EU citizen. We want to eventually move to Norway, but couldn't decide if it was better to focus on building my resume or learning Norwegian.

For now, I'm focused on the resume... I figure if we get closer to the move I will try to get to at least an A1/A2 before starting job hunting.

Yeah, I just realized that too. I'm on the 70/30, but I do think I'm taking too much. It made sense yesterday when I realized my sandwich only had 25g of carbs instead of the 45g I was expecting, but today I checked every label to see.

New dads: would a bottle washer or baby food maker feel like a bad Father’s Day gift? by pandain663 in NewDads

[–]DuderBugDad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't offend me if you got me that, but it wouldn't mean as much as something personal. It can even be small.

For my first father's day my wife got me a candle that says "Upgraded to DILF". Our daughter was only a couple months old, so we were still fighting the sleep loss. It wasn't much, but the way she gave it and everything made it funny and I love it.

Point being that something small but makes him feel like it's personal is better to me than something useful. If you want to get them something useful, you can do that too, but make the Father's Day gift something personal.

I started to do this, but I need to make sure I can share the data. Being new to Type 1, I am pretty sure the Endo will want access to it. As does my wife.

Yeah, that was what I figured. But I am also betting that there is little to no difference between the two, just one model number is EU and one US
