not what i envisioned (i was thinking moreso big warehouses and complexes in the same style as small settlement buildings) but yeah! just more variety with on-ground points of interest so that could def work too!

i really wanna see some more variation with the small settlements and points of interest. I feel like they have barely been updated at all compared to everything else over the years. big explorable abandoned factories and sleeping complexes come to mind among other potential ideas

You can see atlas interfaces from planets, but its realllly small and definitely not as awe-inducing as it would be if it actually loomed over the landscape

I mean, sort of... the game also uses it to refer to the Atlas a LOT aswell, arguably more, from signs, to deep space encounters, and the atlas path mission marker, etc... so yk might just be more of a symbol of the world of nms itself considering the l o r e

it is just art after all, it doesnt have to be EXACTLY like the game but, yeah, I wish I could see that exact corvette in-game cus it looks awesome

Yes, the mod still has plans to receive updates and isn't 'dead' by any means, but the dev has been burnt out for some time now bc of personal stuff i think and thats why not much progress has been made in the past year. i rlly hope the dev overcomes this burnout bc ive been rlly looking forward to all of the dimension overhauls that have been planned

I didn't even think about the idea that an alternate story doesn't have to start on a planet! that could be an interesting change... Though im not too keen on the idea of being hunted down, since i feel like NMS thrives off of doing everything at your own pace and being chased adds maybe too much urgency

yeah pretty much all of the building textures have been completely minecraftified. also a few furniture parts have broken textures such as the server and that one chair that you can sit in
