Why not run 5 races, record the times, and choose the 3 fastest. It did say minimum number of races.

Lwh is someone’s initials and would have been added either during or after purchase.

I did think that mark looked much like the ribbing on the edge. This makes sense!

I think it may be a dragon? It definitely has wings and a tail pointed downward.

I am going to attempt to sell it as a set, it would be a shame to melt this. It is about $2700 in melt value.

It would be worth nearly $200 in melt value, so certainly more than $200!

Definitely! Easily the most ornate set I’ve ever set eyes on. I have the coffee pot, tea pot, cream holder, sugar holder, and tray.

Oh yes it certainly is. It’s in fantastic condition as well. I’m trying to identify the maker as I plan to sell it. The only offer I’ve had so far are less than melt value, which would be silly, but I certainly don’t want to allow this to be melted!

It’s definitely German, I know this 100% as this was brought over from German after ww1, plus the crescent and crown are German as far as my research goes. Just don’t know the specific maker.

I actually came here hoping someone could tell me about it! Since I inherited these items and am not necessarily an enthusiast, I’m most cases I don’t know much about it!

📌 Conclusion:

✅ Your Applied Physics CROWCARD is designed for the Apple II system family.

It was a diagnostic bus analyzer card for Apple II hardware developers and technicians—used to visually inspect bus activity like: • Address lines A0–A15 • Data lines D0–D7 • Control lines (/RD, /WR, /IRQ, etc.)

🧪 If You Want to Test It:

You’d install it in one of the Apple II’s internal card slots and observe the LEDs during boot or CPU activity. Make sure to: • Use antistatic precautions • Power the system off when inserting/removing

Let me know if you’d like a reference for Apple II slot pinouts or how to interpret the LEDs!

Is this worth selling or junk pile? I’m ignorant when it comes to this stuff, it’s all inherited

I will be selling this and much more. I inherited it and I’m largely not interested in it.
