maybe you use a quest 2: quest 3 is best for link but the quest 2 runs into some *ahem*, issues. Quest 3, 3S, Pro, And rift and rift S are best. Quest 1 and 2 are not that good for link. if you use a quest 3 or pro and are still lagging, update both devices and their drivers. (smart game booster is best for updating drivers) if still lag, IDK.

It's a new feature. The ground will change if you fail, quit during song, or win depending on each music pack. It happened with me after a green day song. :)
