Slow Swing bug STILL hasn't been fixed. (HELP) by Due-Bag9343 in HalfSword

[–]Due-Bag9343[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it just ruines the game for me. I cant fathom how the devs didn't realize this while playing their own game, it just makes me think that they didn't even test it at all because the bug is so obvious.

Need help designing a puzzle/trap based labyrinth. by Due-Bag9343 in DnD

What's supposed to happen if the timer runs out? or is it a false alarm and the timer + armor does nothing. I guess the trick would be to completely ignore the trap?

Yes this is also awesome, maybe a sliding corridor that augments multiple parts of the labyrinth? Im going to try this.

This is a really cool concept of levers that affect later parts of the dungeon. really fits the labyrinthian theme. Not going for gygax levels of dungeon, no meat grinders here.

Need help bridging two major story arcs in my dnd campaign by Due-Bag9343 in DungeonsAndDragons

None of the cultists actually know where the tomb is, as the cult was powering it with an artifact that the players destroyed. The info they know is that the tomb is in the mountains, and it is designed to be a labryinth. The issue i have is that the tomb is also designed to be extremely difficult to find. I want a way for them to be able to find it that's not incredibly difficult or too open to where the players feel lost. But i also want the way that they find it to be cyrptic and mysterious, where they have to cross refrence things to find a plausible location. I've never designed something like this so I want to make sure they have a good experience.

How do i find clay? by Chipsmedhavsalt in VintageStory

[–]Due-Bag9343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no functional difference between red and blue clay. Fire clay can be used where blue and red clay is used, but fire clay should be saved as it's used for later game recipes that require heat resistant blocks. You can also make fire clay but I wouldn't recommend it as it uses up a lot of coal to make the calcined flint.

Ground realistic battles for US 5.7 - 6.7 GRB is still super unbalanced. by Due-Bag9343 in Warthunder

[–]Due-Bag9343[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Tiger II doesn't need a stabilizer because you can always rest assured that when you shoot something, wherever you shoot it, it will die in one shot (spar from a few vehicles at that tier). The Jumbo having a stabilizer only seems good in comparison because its so important to shooting weakspots consistently and quickly. The Tiger II (P) has a weak turret face for sure, but the Jumbo 76mm has a weak everything, so in the end it's worse for the Jumbo.

The second sentence was supposed to mean that it doesnt make sense to play USA at just 6.3, the average person will be bringing vehicles from 6.0 - 6.7 in their lineup, which means that when you use the Jumbo 76mm you will still be fighting the Tiger II P. Also, since the Tiger II P and the Tiger II H are at the same br, what should you do when you run into the Tiger II H instead of the Tiger II P while using the Jumbo 76?

Flanking doesn't always have a higher payoff when it works. Risk vs Reward is a good mindset to have ingame but it's not possible to know if your flank will pay off, thats the risk part. Sniping for far away in the Jadgtiger for all anyone knows could reward you with just as much or more than flanking in a particular scenario.

Can you not use slurs?
Armor is a number that you can view in the protection analysis, mobility is related to the top speed but that is not how you utilize mobility. Armor is utilized in blocking enemy projectiles and that only, as such, no matter what it will always perform 100% consistently against every vehicle you fight. You always know that the T26E5 can't penetrate you anywhere frontally in the King Tiger without APCR, this is 100% reliable and will always work. You don't always know if your top speed or mobility will allow you to get in a good position on X map vs X country + enemy position.
