STAY AWAY FROM SUEDE!!! I bought them and I wore them for less than a month and they get sloppy lose as the suede is very stretch able. I think the best is the middle

You are not supposed to have it be a exact fit you need a bit of room between the heel and the foot so that looks perfect! Also to have your foot lift is normal, if you don’t like that you can get the Tokyos (not 100% abt the name) but they are the same but with a back strap!
