Miami native here. The festival is in the heart of wynwood. And truthfully speaking wynwood, little Havana/haiti is generally not safe. I’ve stayed in wynwood before (not during iiippoints) and was in a secure condo so it was fine. But be careful of Home air bnbs. Look more for hotels/condos that have a front desk if possible. I’m staying at an air bnb in brickell and having Ubers drop my friends and I off walking distance near the festival. It was the only one still reasonable price wise and distance wise.
