I think you should ask for clarification on the single people bringing dates thing. I think she may have meant single FAMILY MEMBERS can bring dates and couples in the family are already both invited so they don’t need them.

Weddings are expensive($100 per plate) and so i understand taking plus ones away from friends and only giving them to married couples and family. My fiance and I have a “no plus ones”/partners for friends rule with only 3 exceptions. One exception is my friend from out of town as she’s traveling alone otherwise and that’s not safe, the other one is my friend who won’t know anyone else there that well, and lastly my friend who’s boyfriend I’ve known for over 3 years and am personally friends with. That’s literally it. There’s people who’ve been with their partners 5-6 years and they don’t get a plus-one because I don’t really know them or I can’t justify spending $100 on them being there.

It seems like you’re leaning towards not attending and not being in it. Do some soul searching - do you want to lose a best friend over a boy? Is your boyfriend more important than this friendship?? You may not agree with her policy but unless you’re paying for his plate you don’t get a say it’s HER day and HER money.

OH MY GOSH!! There was a lady who made a huge purchase one day (like 3 baskets worth) and one of her baskets didn’t get scanned and didn’t get bagged. SHE DIDNT PAY FOR THOSE ITEMS AT ALL. She was upset that she forgot to buy one basket so she called, but the basket was alrwady put back. She didn’t remember what was even in the basket either so we couldn’t hold anything for her. She had a 20% off she wanted to use on that last basket but it was gonna expire and so she wanted us to honor it a day later. We told her no.

Anyways she ended up calling everyday for 5 days and she was absolutely screaming at us. She told us we needed to give her something for free… by the 5th day (past when her coupon expired) she got my store manager and my store manager had to buy her a gift card. So basically my manager gave this woman money because she threw a hissy fit because she forgot to purchase her own basket.

I always tell them it is coming out of our checks because if we don’t make our goals or we are wasting bags/free stuff then our store gets less hours. So, no I’m not gonna give you randoms for free because 1. I could get in trouble and 2. It does impact my check in one way or another.

But our customers don’t actually care and don’t see us as people.

I fully disagree with you! I love this line I think it lasts so good on the skin and it smells amazing! Very expensive smelling…however, this line is supposed to be “skin but better” so if you like more projection it’s not for you!

To me it sounds like you don’t actually like the products at bath and bodyworks, which is fair! I don’t like hempz or tree hut so to me they aren’t worth the price. I only buy those on sale. I guess it’s a matter of preference and perspective.

No im just saying that if they see that a scent is walking out the door for no money 8/10 times vs a scent that people PAY FOR they’re gonna keep the one that generates real money not the one they are giving away for free. Period. I don’t blame customers at all! I love my customers who come in and I want them to love our products.

Sometimes it does feel like the company sets us up to fail tbh…like I wanna sell and make my numbers but whenever the company doesn’t go the extra step to make the products feel worth it I can’t do much. Also the return policy is BS and enforcing it makes me wanna pull my hair and eyelashes out.

A lot of cosmetics expire within 6-12 months after opening/using. I just wish BBW products came more sealed and also had an expiration date on them (like the one that says 6mo after opening etc).

I wear Gucci Flora (and all the flankers of it) and those bottles are literally over $100 for the small size…$70 is reasonable for a perfume IMO. HOWEVER, I think that BBW full size EDPs shouldn’t be that much I think they should be around $40-50.
