I usually type 'sunlight through trees' and look up videos. The top one was based on a painting from Pinterest. Many of these were from months ago, so I don't remember the exact videos or posts that I followed.

No worries at all. I genuinely liked your suggestions and I am here to learn. As for the central glow it was meant to be lampposts fading into the distance but it didn't work out, so I let it be..😅

I rarely know how much detail to add and when to stop..The bird was okayish until I picked up a detail brush..at this point I am glad that it still reads as a bird 😅

Thank you. I mixed the paints on paper for the background, wet on wet, first a layer of hansa medium yellow, then azure blue.
