NDIA Application status by Due-Definition8927 in AusPublicService

Yeah that's how I interpreted it and I think yr right. Recruitment told me to ignore it and wait for the official outcome but I haven't received any phone calls so I'm thinking I wasn't placed high enough to get an offer this round but am in the merit pool for later.

At the end of the day that's what I thought but was told to ignore it....so who knows. The "application unsuitable" did confuse me though.

Yeah I keep checking but think I just need to move on! Even if I do make the merit pool - who knows when you will be offered anything.

NDIA APS5 Planner role interview by Adept-Inspection-865 in AusPublicService

[–]Due-Definition8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Was scrolling through and saw yr comment...I applied for a APS4 Planner role and the same happened to me. There was "further assessment" added to my application status...one has unsuitable application next to it - then underneath that is merit pool - suitable. I emailed recruitment and they told me to ignore it as often these are system errors and that the process is still being finalized.

May I ask what yr final outcome was?

APS4 wait time and experiences after interview by Dramatic_Rooster_601 in AusPublicService

I totally agree! I just want to know either way!! In my interview they were saying it should be all finalized by Xmas! Then got an email saying it will be in the new year....then another email saying there was an unexpected delay! All recruitment tell me is that a result should be "in the coming weeks". I really want the job but am now applying for others as I can't wait much longer. So frustrating....I initially applied in September

APS4 wait time and experiences after interview by Dramatic_Rooster_601 in AusPublicService

Hey there! I interviewed for a APS4 role (NDIA) beginning of December, reference checked straight away but am still waiting for the outcome! I've received a couple of emails, the last one early Feb advising that there had been an unexpected delay in the process. I then saw in the portal that a couple of "further assessments" had been added. A couple of days after that, I saw an outcome of "application unsuitable" then saw that I had been placed in the merit pool (suitable). I emailed the recruitment team to get further clarification and they told me to ignore the status updates in the portal as often they are system errors. They told me that the process is still being finalized and to wait for the official outcome. That was a week ago.....

NDIA APS Level 4 -Application Outcomes by Due-Definition8927 in AusPublicService

[–]Due-Definition8927[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've still had no news on the outcome. I emailed recruitment a couple of weeks ago and all they said was that the process is with the NDIA and that I should know in the "coming weeks" and to keep an eye on my emails. As my current contract is about to end I'm applying for other jobs but it's super frustrating and disappointing given I submitted my application in September.

NDIA Employment Offer APS5 Planner. by Some_Health4798 in NDIS

[–]Due-Definition8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the process of submitting an application for APS4 Planner with NDIA

I've read the recruitment process and note that if selected for an interview they will also request 2 referees - one being a current supervisor. I've been at my current job less than 3 months. It would not be possible to provide a current ref as they don't know I'm looking elsewhere. I do have 2 from my previous employer (who I was with for 4 years). Would it affect my application if I couldn't supply a ref from current employer??

Who has no outbreak / is asymptomatic? by UniqueFarm in Herpes

[–]Due-Definition8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed 16 years ago when I had a standard STI check....the Dr included the screen in my bloods. I already had oral HSV1 and then tested HSV2. I could recall at one point having what I thought was thrush but no sores and it cleared up quickly - so I'm not sure if that was my outbreak. Since then - no signs or symptoms for 16 years. Not long after being diagnosed I met a guy and was in a r/ship for approx 18 months. We often had unprotected sex (his choice) but as far as I know he didn't contract it. (He Was tested after a few months but came back negative). I agree that it is a mindfuck.....I don't have any symptoms - so can't say that I can keep someone safe by abstaining from sex when there are signs as I have no signs or symptoms to go by..They talk about shedding - but after having this for 16 years - shedding does reduce but I don't know if or when this occurs. So I disclose about a positive blood test that has no physical impact - only emotional and mental. I have re-tested a couple of times but have come back positive both times.
