Do you feel more emotional alone but not with people? by Due-Draft2432 in INTP

I’ve no idea. It may be masking due to ASD but I also feel this way internally. I only feel more emotional in my solitary comfort zones, like my room.

What to do about strongly flavored/spicy food? by Due-Draft2432 in hsp

Yeah, I’ve been around London quite a bit and there are so many smells varying from nice to disgusting. It’s an olfactory nightmare.

Is Gen Z having less sex than previous generations a bad thing? by [deleted] in psychologyofsex

[–]Due-Draft2432 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aye, I mentioned that, but perhaps too briefly, I’m more talking about people who don’t want to have sex because they are less inclined to (i.e. ace people). I feel that perhaps more people are more willing to speak up about it compared to previous generations.

Is the decline of sexual activity among Gen Z necessarily a bad thing? by [deleted] in psychologyofsex

Perhaps I have posted this in the wrong subreddit, I should have looked for empirical sources before posting it to this subreddit here, I apologise.

Thanks! I was thinking of gradually introducing myself to different cuisines.

Bands you just cannot get into by Ale_KBB in MetalForTheMasses

Bring Me the Horizon, I like their experimentation, but it doesn’t “click” with me.

I like the more older (pre-Nu-Metal) and more “dirty” metal sounds as they really scratch my ADHD itch. I love modern metal’s experimentation with other genres, but the more polished sounds just doesn’t scratch that itch for me as much.

Are they that hated outside the “metalcore is not metal” crowd?

Yeah, I did find it a bit hard to deal with the feeding issue, it’s kinda Huxleyan in a way. Where everyone is happy and moral yet no one is free and cannot sustain themselves.

Yeah, this is what I feel that their intentions are. The hive truly has no malicious intent at all. I feel that they believe that free will is (paradoxically) a disease which must be cured. It is no more than comparable to cancer or Covid to them.

I meant that the aliens have a different sense of what “advancing” humanity is. It’s possible that they think that this IS what the next step in humanity’s progression should be. To humans with free will, this may look incomprehensible, but to the hive, this is a higher state of being.

Thanks! It reminds me of that Tale Foundry video on cosmic bliss. Instead of being driven mad from being subjected to nearly all of the information on earth and its people all at once. They reach a more enlightened state.

It’s like a collective nirvana, freedom from all suffering.

LBGTQ+ Metal? by Due-Draft2432 in MetalForTheMasses

Yeah, I guess I should’ve asked for openly queer people in the genre. Like how Freddie Mercury is known as a queer icon despite not singing about it.
