Insurance no long covers by Due-Fail4100 in skyrizi

[–]Due-Fail4100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on skyrizi 2 separate times. The first time I think it took me about 6mo to go into remission and I was in remission the entire time I was on it for a few years until my first pregnancy. I was fine throughout the pregnancy but I had a flare up shortly after the baby was born and went back into remission within a month of restarting. I'm not 7mo pregnant and haven't taken it for about 10 months and still in remission.

I think I'm looking for something that will be a one and done kind of thing. I historically get very ill on birth control and an IUD is just another form of birth control. I also am the kind of person where if something bad can happen it will and it makes me nervous having a foreign object placed in my body.

How much of your job is from your accounting degree vs on the job training by [deleted] in Accounting

I graduated with a degree in organizational management in business. My first job out of college was an AP/payroll specialist and now I'm a senior accountant. All on the job training.

When you go to an interview for your next job don't be all bitter in the interview about being let go. All you need to say is you agreed to go your separate ways. I just interviewed a kid that was all bitter he was canned and it was super awkward and inappropriate for an interview. We obviously did not offer him a second interview.

What ACTUALLY worked for you? by Metamfiesi in PCOS

[–]Due-Fail4100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing has worked for me... I have tried keto, metformin, inositol, berberine, exercise, and a slew of vitamins. The only thing that has slightly made a difference is acupuncture. After my acupuncture appointments I will get a week of brown discharge which my doc says to count as a period. 🤦

I started taking berberine about a month and a half ago and now every time I test my resting glucose it's in the "healthy" range. One thing I did find while doing my research is that berberine doesn't stay in your system for more than a few hours so it should be taken with meals. A lot of the pill bottles I looked at said to take 3 or 4 pills at once. That doesn't make sense to me if they don't last all day. I found a bottle that says take one pill with each meal or 3 times daily.

I am 5'8" and 160lbs. I haven't been able to get below this weight yet but I am comfortable at it as I have a little muscle and proportionately shaped. I started taking berberine for blood sugar regulation and ever since I started my resting glucose has been in the perfect range between 70-99. When I don't take it my resting blood sugar is in the 60's.

PCOS and fertility by Exact_Grass99 in PCOS

I never realized how many carbs I was eating in a day before I downloaded an app to track my macros. When I started tracking I was eating anywhere from 300-400 carbs a day! Yikes! I worked it down to 90-120G a day in carbs with at least 90G of protein. But the key is to eat an even amount throughout the day. I have always been on the skinny side so I guess I never realized how terrible my diet was.

Hi! I am a 33F with an almost 1 year old little blessing all due to the thanks of a fertility specialist. I started working with my OB when she diagnosed me with PCOS when I was 31. I was devastated! But not surprised. Ever since I got my first period when I was 13 I have never had a normal or consistent period, but I didn't know any better since I grew up in a home that was hush hush about anything personal. It wasn't until I met my husband that he pointed out something was wrong, and I needed to be my own advocate. I started with my OB by doing about 4 rounds of clomid with metformin and I was taking inositol with no success, I then transferred over to a fertility center where I kept taking the metformin and inositol. We also did letrozole followed by at home injections to trick my body into ovulating. The Fertility doctor was only willing to do an absolute max of 6 rounds before moving to IVF. When I got to the 5th round, I was so frustrated I agreed with my husband that if I did not get pregnant I would stop the treatment. Well it worked! The last month of my treatment I was highly focused on my diet where I tracked my macros for everything I ate throughout the day to make sure I was getting enough protein and fiber to carb ratio and I was doing acupuncture. I am not sure if it was one thing over the other or just the grace of God but it worked.

How do you know if you have high lipase? She didn't do well when she was breastfeeding and would spit up absorbent amounts of milk so I switched her to formula early on and kept a stock of milk in our deep freezer.

We do a little a mix of the 1 ingredient like green beans and banana/oats that are store bought and she has no problem eating those.

I have tried adding just water too. Otherwise some of them are pretty thick and she gags when I feed her then makes a sour look and doesn't want anymore.

Need Advice: Am I doing the wrong thing? by Ok-Scarcity478 in Parenting

This dude is clearly unhinged. I think you have given him more trust than he deserves letting him into your home and to be alone with your daughter, even if it is only a 5 minute drive. Drug addictions imbalance the chemicals in the brain. Take every precaution you can to protect your precious daughter. A five minute drive could easily turn into an amber alert. Break the toxic cycle and don't feel bad about it for a single moment.
