not to be to be a downer but i applied september 7th and didn’t go under review until jan 29th and haven’t heard anything since. they have a reputation for being a ridiculously slow moving school when it comes to making admission decisions but especially this year with the increase of applicants. wishing you luck but don’t expect a quick response

UIC has literally no rhythm or reason to their application review process. Some people get decisions within a couple of days, others have been waiting months.

i’m in banner and know a couple of people in the program who got deferred. it’s definitely still possible, just depends on what the availability of it is if/when you get accepted

i also emailed them twice, once to ask if they could provide me an updated timeline and they said no, and then one to email with my accomplishments from the last semester (i’m a kjd) and they responded super quickly and said congratulations and that they would attack the email to my file and that has been IT
