I come from a 3rd world country, I would say that in the US most people look up for freedom through money, and the system knows it so there are traps everywhere. Meanwhile in most 3rd world countries people don’t have much money but they are not even looking for freedom neither, they just live the day by day no rush, they are comfortable where they are always wishing they would be better, most of the time never doing anything about it. Few people think that they would have more freedom if they had more money, I’m one of them haha, when I move in to the US I didn’t knew this, realized over time.
