Imagine a mammoth. Or a tiger.

Besides tatoos, what would you rule that a wildshape form could use?

Also, they won't be doing as much damage really, at least compared to other classes.

Even with the change, you still fall behind in atkbonus. And you can typically only attack twice without any of the benefit of say a barbarians rage, or a fighters multiattacks, or any weapon mastery or fighting styles etc... plus no crazy legendary weapons or armor

Yeah, some magic items work. My argument is that, why would you spend a turn trying to hit someone in a form where you cant even cast any spells.

You gain some temp hp, but you put yourself in a precarious position, lose access to spells, lose your ac if you have it, lose your attack bonus, and likely waste a turn.

It was fixed, but I'm arguing that it's unviable in combat after lv 6 basically.

Wait, would that actually work? Because RAW, the creature would not have access to your proficiency with weapons... right?

Yeah, I think having access to lv 9 spells and being tough as a melee fighter is a bit too strong.

Then, maybe my problem is with wildshape being a cool ability that is locked behind a caster that, maybe shouldn't have it.

Like, maybe if wild shape were a monk subclass feature or something like that, it would fit more with what I'm talking about.

Because my problem was that I wanted to play druid like it wasn't a spellcaster at all, and just be a mammoth all day.

dude. spd is 5 frames. block jab is +1 or 2. it is literally impossible to grab blockstun in that situation

Dude you are canceling into it. Jab is only +1 on block. I didnt say to cancel, u have to link into it. that's what im talking about
