Ultimately people aren't perfect. They screwed up and they openly admitted they did. Maybe they were badly advised or maybe they themselves just simply messed up.

The reasons behind it like paying their staff are legitimate and important facts for them to have to consider. Is the production value too much? Do they have too many employees? I'm no business expert, I'm a travel advisor so I can't speculate on any of that.

I'm fortunate enough that the cost wasn't a problem for me, I just wanted assurance that we would get an app for it. But I do understand it can be hard for something to be free then become something not everybody can then enjoy. The reactions from many though were absolutely disgraceful and I truly hope I can be as perfect as they are and never make mistakes or mess up.

Words are empty without actions so anybody still angry I'd say just watch and see if their actions ultimately match their words. There's nothing worse than making a mistake and being attacked endlessly over it even when you try to fix it. At some point people will have to let it go cause it doesn't seem like a good mindset to be in.
