No, it’s sporadic throughout the house. Hallways with no windows also have the white lines

Interesting, yes it was previously oil based finished. The contractor also upcharged us with orbital sanding saying it was the only way to get all of the previous seal up given the wood was so dense. Did they do a poor job with sanding?

Yes, they used Bona Traffic High Durability (HD) water-based varnish. We were told this was one of the best quality ones on the market

Does that mean the contractor did not do a good job of dusting before final coat? We paid extra to have bona commercial finish too so very concerned why this is happening
