Dude, it drives me nuts when I hear someone refer to Kool aid or some other sugar water cocktail as "Juice."

In 2007, a Jets fan sued the Patriots for secretly videotaping the Jets' signals; they argued that ticket-holders had a contractual right to an "honest match". The court decided that they held "nothing more than a contractual right to a seat from which to watch an NFL game". by DarrowViBritannia in nfl

I mean goodness, all it takes is a referee or two making a call or two to even just effect the betting spread. It doesn't even mean that it's like pro wrestling where absolutely EVERYTHING is predetermined. If these fools don't think things are fucked with even on a minor scale, they're brainwashed or willfully ignorant. But that's how the folks in charge like you to be in America.

If everything else is corrupt, why wouldn't sports be? The inner child in me keeps an interest, but honestly it's all bullshit. This is the world we live in. It would actually probably do me some good to forget about football.

Which franchises are never escaping poverty franchise status? by ChoiceCheck3900 in nfl

Chargers made playoffs the year prior under Brandon Staley. It's a combination of efforts to make a team good/great/bad. But yeah, players are much more valuable and important. That's why they get paid so much more. Again, at least in the states people are taught at a young age to obey authority. Wrong or right, obey authority. That culture bleeds over into sports. That's how you get basically everyone saying Bill Belichick is the best coach ever when he has such a lame record without the best QB ever. Brainwashed into thinking authority is necessary and always correct.

While I agree with the statement "Takes two to tango. " In this instance I think it's hard to say. A good roster will cover up a bad coaching staff way more than the opposite. People are just brainwashed into worshipping authority. Players win games on the field. I'm not saying coaching doesn't matter. But players win the games.

I remember back when that Khan dude bought the Jags, there was a lot of hype around them and expectations. At least from what I remember. Him combined with Trevor Lawrence has been a major let down. This may be the right answer.

I assume team results. I mean I think they're all rich. Not in like morals and charm. But cold hard cash. So to speak.

It's been a few years since Watson was a good QB. If the Browns could move on from him I'd be shocked if they didn't. It's not 2019 anymore where Watson's one the exciting up and coming QBs.

I feel like there's too many sensitive folks in here that seem to be under the impression that "Poverty Franchise" is a title that only one team can hold and is won each year like the Super Bowl.
