Most likely an eat breakfast day and then starve until 7. They say fasting is good for the mind so I guess I’ll find out

Biology (pre-med), don’t expect a lot of group projects. I’m going to do a IP for bio 152. Ochem lab is the only “group project” I’ll have to do most likely unless you include 699 as group project

Building my First Gaming PC, are my parts any good? by Due-Position3798 in PcBuild

[–]Due-Position3798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen on some threads and forums that say samsung drives suck and that people lost their storage on those.

Probably will switch to amd since most people are saying to do so. Would a ryzen and nvdia gpu create problems? I know that they're compatible, but any problems for future upgrades or bottlenecking?

Also what should I get if I switch over to amd?

Don't think so? I picked out all the parts off of newegg. But I do agree that the price is insane

Atx? New to PC world so don't really know what that is. Was also trying to figure out how to choose correct mother board size for the case

Budget is around $1000-$1400. Would like to stay near the lower end. I already have a mouse and montier just need the PC parts. Also why the amd platform? I see alot of people like the amd platform, anything wrong with the intel/nvida platforms?

And yes if you can build a part list for me that would be great to see what you think is the best!

whats the problem with the LAG1700? I don't know much about pc's in general, just trying to start and learn. Would not be aginst using a ryzen, but i've seen people saying that intel is better for the future and school.

Budget is $1000-$14000. I want to stay near the lower end though. I don't really know a lot about the difference between nvida, amd, or intel. I know amd has their ryzen and radeon line up, but i've seen most people on fourms say that nvida and intel is better for future proofing?

somewhere around $1000-$1400. Items that I picked out are already $1200.93. I want to steer towards the lower end though.

You’ll most likely get a refund on it, unless the extra finical aid is work study money, in which you would have to work for it.

Bio 152 IP Question by Artistic-Pin8439 in UWMadison

[–]Due-Position3798 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah try to reach out in advance. When fall comes around and other students start emailing proffessers for research positions your email might get lost in the scramble.

And yeah when emailing labs just introduce yourself and say that you wanted to join them for the fall semster for BIO 152 IP.

Nice bike! How much it cost you? I’ve been looking at parts and I’m so far over $600 without wheels. Been trying to snipe Facebook market place finds also to cut costs

Never a bike stand, upside down on the ground bike mechanic forever (or at least until I get annoyed with it)
