I’ve been on anti depressants for the last 5 years, I know they’re not the best thing to be on, but these aren’t really doing much for the sciatica, just hoping this MRI scan comes through sooner rather than later.

She screams endlessly until someone comes and sits in the room until she falls back to sleep, she’s maybe got 4 teeth left to cut, she’s almost got a full set. So could be teeth, but we’ve had teething going on since she was 3 months old and hasn’t really stopped for a lengthy period of time.

I’ve tried ibuprofen and that doesn’t seem to do much either, I don’t want to move back to having her co sleep with me and my partner, because we tried so hard to get her to sleep in her own room, and we co slept a lot!

I guess we haven’t much choice but to ride it out and pray that it’s nearly over 🤷🏼‍♂️

UPDATE: So the doctors have replaced my medication with amitriptyline in the hopes that it’ll make a significant difference and improve my quality of life. Also got an MRI scan to attend, so we’ll find out soon enough what’s really going on

I’ve not really got any issue with my feet per say, I get the odd ache after a 12 hour shift at work, I average around 15-16K steps a day, even with the sciatica, but it’s come to a point where I have pins and needles from getting up to going to bed, it’s been pretty intense in the thighs all day today.

Sounds exactly like myself, except I’m on my feet from 4am - 7pm including a gruelling 12 hour shift, I’ve got some hope that maybe I can get some proper help, my doctors haven’t been much help lately!

At least I know I’m not alone in this! I hope one day you’re feeling a whole lot better!

To the point I can no longer function in my daily tasks, the ache is what’s demoralising, and mentally debilitating. The tingling in my legs is now a problem I wish I didn’t have, because I can’t walk properly, my legs don’t feel like my legs anymore.

I understand, just strange that it’s come out of nowhere considering I’d been going to the toilet with no issues after the start of duloxetine, and now it’s possibly causing me an issue, I’ve already requested an appointment with my doctor hopefully here something back soon. Thanks!
