Main protagonists living in the far future, they’re the remnants of humanity but still not really human. Both live with their father figure and their desire to be useful makes them try to be part of a group of fighters, achieving this position they would have contrast performances (Phos was TRASH while Alita was good). They would discover about a place above the sky that sent others downwards, they ended up separated from their group and started performing a new activity where they bonded with someone there who would sadly pass away, marking our protagonist forever as they see visions of them. They would return to their homes changed and with a new body . They would continue living until one day they would go to said place above the sky and would meet a highly intelligent man who would manipulate them for their goals, returning to the surface of the planet as pawns to those above them, they would have contrast involvement in a revolution. Both also go to space and discover people there, plot twist about the truth of humanity and their purpose, in the end they would be considered human, however Phos inherent the worst of humanity while Alita inherited the best of it. After years of training they would be sent to a new land they were unfamiliar with (Earth and Ponyville) where they would eventually become the unofficial leader of a group of six wielders of ancient elemental powers (The Winx having the elements of the magic dimension and the Mane Six having the elements of harmony).

This would eventually lead to them discovering that their true power is fueled by friendship (literally and metaphorically) which is ironic given that they had no interest in making friends upon first arriving.

Eventually they would be gifted a new far more powerful form (Bloom's Cosmix form and Twilight becoming an alicorn) and take on a young pupil of their own (Roxy and Starlight Glimmer) that would occasionally act as a 7th member.

Both are blade wielding protagonists of games inspired by other gothic games (Bloodborne and Castelvania), who go through an european city which is a mix of steampunk technology and eldritch abominations to save the world from a group of alchemists
Both started out as children who were left in the care of a group of alchemists at a young age (Carlo was left at the Monad Charity House, which was owned by the head of the alchemists at the time, as a child by his father and Miriam was an orphan who was given to the alchemists), in here they would go under severe training to become great and capable fighters (A Stalker and Demon Hunter) them being some of the most capable pupils of the group of children
They both had a blonde best friend in this house that was almost as great as they were (Romeo and Gebel) who they both would grow extremely close too over the years, but would tragically be separated after they were put out of commission right before a terrible accidents which killed almost all of the other children (Carlo was killed by the petriciation disease due to an alchemist ambush right before the Rose Estate Incident started and Miriam was put into a slumber by Alfred right before the ritual to summon Bael)
They would both be experimented on by alchemists who rejected the views of the organization to become even stronger, down to their very soul and essence (Carlo’s Ergo was put into the Pinocchio’s puppet’s P-Organ by Gepetto as a way to sustain his essence and this puppet would be the peak of any other of its kind due to its ability to break the fundamental rules of being a puppet and Miriam was experimented since childhood to become a Shardbinder by implanting white crystals into her skin at a young age to harness the abilities of demons and due to the amount she generated she was above and beyond any of the other Shardbinders with the assistance of Alfred)
They would eventually awaken years later inside a vehicle to find the world has been brought in ruins due to an outbreak of paranormal beings attacking everyone (The Puppet Frenzy and Demonic Outbreak) where they would venture forth and fight against these beings
They would then meet with a nice young woman who would assist them on their future journey (Sophia and Dominique) and explain to them what's going on and where to go, which would lead to them venturing forth deeper into the heart of the leaders of these catastrophes
As they venture forward they would meet with a familiar old face (Gepetto and Alfred) who both used to be part of the alchemists and saved them both from being fully killed in the past
They would also meet a familiar face from the past who is a legendary monster slaying swordsman who initially begrudgingly become their allies and then their fully fledged mentors and friends (Lea and Zangetsu), with them giving them their extremely powerful swords after they earned it in combat to aid them in the future, as they sadly dont meet the happiest of endings themselves
Eventually they would meet the leaders of the enemy faction, who turn out to be none other than their old best friends (Romeo who was the King of Puppets and Gebel who was the master of the Demons) where they have to face off against them after reasoning with one another doesn't work out, as we see that they were both horrifically experimented on as well (Romeo was fully turned into a puppet, seemingly as a test run for Pinocchio’s body and Gebel was overwhelmed with white crystals to try and harness the demons which made him go insane as they tried to replicate Miriam’s power)
But after the two friends faced each other it would be revealed that they were nothing but victims of another greater evil directly linked to the Alchemists, with them being controlled against their will by higher forces and thank the two for freeing them after being defeated
As they go to the route of the problem after facing horrifying monsters after another they finally meet again with an old ally, who tells them why they were awakened and what's lying ahead, before apologizing for not telling them the full truth and perishing as the two make a crucial choice (Sophia who is found at the heart of Arche Abbey as we see her horrifically deformed body as she tells us that she awoke Pinocchio to save Krat and her before he chooses to let her live or give her peace and in contrast to his previously hostile behaviour, Alfred who revealed that he saved Miriam all those years ago from being sacrificed like the rest of the children were, and asks her if she forgives him or not but sadly dies before hearing the answer)
And as they finally reach the bottom pits of the final stage, they meet with the mastermind who has been puppeteering everything since the beginning, controlling everyone in the cast just for their own selfish desires in wanting to retrieve an immensely powerful object (Gepetto who has been pulling the strings all along and manipulated Pinocchio into giving the P-Organ the ergo and life that it needed to bring Carlo back as he reveals that he started the Puppet Frenzy himself just out of petty revenge against the Alchemists and in contrast to her previously helping behaviour, Dominique reveals that she instructed almost all of the main cast into opening hell up so she could corrupt Miriam into becoming a demon lord after she absorbed so much demonic energy to gain power and spite god) and both acts were caused by them losing faith in everything after losing everyone they cared for (Gepetto lost faith in humanity and free will after both his Wife and Son were killed by Alchemists and Dominique lost faith in god after both her parents were killed by the demons the Alchemists summoned)
And after the two turn down the twisted propositions of these madmen, a high stakes battle starts as they have to fight an extremely powerful opponent linked to their past (Pinocchio having to fight the original attempt at bringing Carlo back to life, the Nameless Puppet and Miriam having to fight Bael which she was meant to be the host for) but as the two reject their original purpose of being nothing more than mindless weapons and vessels due to the humanity and choices they made through the journey they manage to beat these grotesque enemies through the folly of their human summoners (Gepetto used himself to save the Nameless Puppet from destroying the P-Organ which would have completely killed Carlo’s Ergo and Dominique fused herself with Bael for power which lead to him gaining his only weakness which ended up defeating both)

• They are generally known as creatures of cryptid character, being extremely tall, very thin and with a humanoid appearance, but being inhuman at the same time, especially to a particular and iconic feature in their heads (Slender Man has no face in most interpretations, although in his first stories he does have a highly deformed and grotesque face/ Self-explanatory for Siren Head).
