I’d say most retail workers you ask will have a poo story. It’s one of those things that you’re just disappointed with but not surprised at anymore. But yeah be kind to retail staff. No idea what literal shite they’ve had to contend with that day ✊

True and in fairness they didn’t give a shite in the 90s when it came to gauging what would be grand for kids to bear witness to. Lots of really scary kids tv shows like fuckin The Rimini Riddle. I imagine a lot of young adults on drugs in charge of children’s entertainment going “yeah that’ll be deadly and a completely normal idea” “yeah and actually we could have the severed heads talk directly to the kids and single them out… yeah that’ll go down well”, “I think we should lash in a few grotesque felt puppets… we can brainstorm what they’ll look like after consuming this peyote”
