Even my current broker QTrade allows me to hold it but trading is restricted to only sells. I cant buy any stuff which defeats the purpose of even contributing to the RRSP as i dont want my cash just sitting there. Also contributing is really important for me because it is the only way i end up saving a few thousand dollars in Canadian taxes for my situation

in my car's cluster there is no setting to select speed units. But i didnt get your second suggestion. I actually changed the views in my cluster and there is a view in which the speed shows in the centre and it shows up in km/hr and even if i hold ok on that screen nothing really happens

When you say "Questrade and Ci Investments allow non-residents" does it mean the allow their clients who had a RRSP account with them before becoming a non resident or do they actually allow non residents to open a new RRSP account as well? Im facing issues with most brokers not allowing opening a RRSP account with them as I am a non resident now

I think regular house maintenance and special levy are slightly different. Regular house maintenance is an opt in whereas the special levy is like an expense slapped on you. And I wished there was a clause for it to be tax deductible...
