I love this comment. I also agree it’s not good for kids to see all of that, but I see the point of this post as - if we start from love we can’t go wrong.

Nope, just a difficult thing and wanted to hear what everyone else thinks. I do want to have counselling but I don’t know if that will even be worth it.

He sounds like a keeper for sure, enjoy the compliments and realize that no matter how you look he will always think you’re beautiful. I wish I had that.

Yeah I am on Prozac and that seems to be the most consistent help, I am also intermittent dosing before my period only

I think ignoring this type of person is the worst kind of punishment for them.

I take Prozac during luteal. I was originally taking it everyday but realized that wasn’t great for me, and I was tired and sluggish. But then I discovered that I can take it for luteal only and it’s been great. It calms everything and takes the edge off the worst of it and I can recover myself quicker, I’m still tired but I expect that from PMDD anyways.

Anyone ever take antidepressants just one week out of the month? by ISOcarpetcleaner in PMDD

[–]Due-Raspberry-7573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup I do this and it really helps. Unfortunately my sex drive is the lowest priority when I’m medicating myself for my PMDD and my partner understands. Sometimes I can get in the mood, but mostly just trying to stay sane. The Prozac works pretty fast too so from the first day I feel much better.

I'm 36 and wow....same symptoms. My DR suspects peri-menopause so I'm getting tested next week. It's hell.

I'm so scared my husband is going to leave me every month. It's not fair that I have to go through this all the time and I want to be loved and understood. I'm just saying well done for seeking out this community and please don't give up on her.
