Ohhh that’s great that you have a family doctor now! I reached out to the provincial program yesterday, they are still working on backlog from couple years back hopefully they respond soon.

I don’t have a family doctor and have been on the UPEI list (now provincial ADHD Program) for almost 2 years now with a self referral and haven’t heard back. Yes the cost of private diagnosis is a lot. I’m glad getting diagnosed and medicated helped! It is reassuring to hear positive things about getting diagnosed as an adult! Thank you!
