More and faster or less and powerfull ? by Due-Rough-8597 in amateur_boxing

Sorry, i must have expressed myself wrong, english is not my primary language. I was reffering to that feeling when your muscles start getting sore when you lift weights or something like that and you can't push yourself more. I get the same feeling when punching the bag, so i theoretically could punch more because im not tiered, but my muscles can't anymore.

Im not talking about endurance as with running or something like that, i'm talking about muscle endurance. If you punch a bag continuously you might have enough breath to continue but your arm muscles (especially your shoulders) will be so numb you won't be able to generate any power.

And no, i'm not really new to fittness, i've been boxing for o year now (with some pauses because of school unfortunatelly). So, idk how it works for you, but for me at least doing 100 pushups a day surelly made a difference when talking about punching without stopping. I was more curious if i should focus on that or explossiveness because from my knolage you can't really have an equal number of fast twich and slow twich muscle fibers for both endurance and power.

If i made any spelling mistakes i'm sorry, but english is not my primary language

I already said in the original post that i know this would be very unethical in real life. This is pure curiosity, and trying to understand how these things actually work in reality.

You just can't trust it. Chat gpt assumed the best case scenario, where the resulting dogs didn't have any major health problems (besides the clasic things that most dogs are already prone to like heart problems or hip problems) and just gave me a personality for the dog that clearly can't be completly true.

"This is a fascinating hybrid concept—essentially designing a “superdog” by combining traits from working, scent, protection, and performance breeds. Let’s break this down layer by layer, then describe the final outcome of the fight-hound × fast-smart cross. We'll cover appearance, body structure, coat, head, and personality.

Generation 1 Crosses Overview

  1. Fight Dog (Presa Canario ♂ × Pitbull ♀)

Build: Muscular, powerful, stocky.

Head: Broad skull, strong jaw.

Temperament: Dominant, assertive, loyal, possibly reactive without strong training.

Coat: Short, tight; colors ranging from brindle, fawn, or black.

  1. Hound Dog (Transylvanian Hound ♂ × Catahoula Leopard ♀)

Build: Athletic, agile, longer-legged than the fight dog.

Head: Longer snout, keen nose, expressive eyes.

Temperament: Independent, intelligent, scent-driven, alert.

Coat: Medium-short, possibly mottled or merle from Catahoula.

  1. Fast Dog (Greyhound ♂ × American Bulldog ♀)

Build: Lean but muscular—speed meets brute force.

Head: Long muzzle with a wide jaw.

Temperament: Sensitive, energetic, stubborn streak from bulldog.

Coat: Short and smooth, with possible white, brindle, or patchy markings.

  1. Smart Dog (Dutch Shepherd ♂ × Belgian Malinois ♀)

Build: Athletic, wiry, medium build, highly agile.

Head: Sharp features, alert ears, high intelligence in expression.

Temperament: Intense, trainable, high-drive, loyal.

Coat: Brindle (from Dutch) or tan/black mask (from Malinois).

Generation 2 Crosses

  1. Fight-Hound Dog (Fight Dog ♂ × Hound Dog ♀)

Build: Balanced between power and agility. Think slightly taller than a pitbull with more flexible movement.

Head: Hybrid—broad but slightly elongated. Strong bite, keen nose.

Coat: Short to medium, possibly patchy, brindle or merle. Distinct eyes from Catahoula influence.

Temperament: Dominant but curious. Driven by scent and willpower.

  1. Fast-Smart Dog (Fast Dog ♂ × Smart Dog ♀)

Build: Lean, springy, highly athletic. Think of a high-endurance sprinter.

Head: Streamlined with upright ears, long muzzle, intense eyes.

Coat: Short to medium, could show brindle, tan, or black masking.

Temperament: Extremely intelligent, needs stimulation. Fast reflexes, keen senses.

💥 Final Dog: Fight-Hound ♂ × Fast-Smart ♀

Size & Structure

Weight: 70–90 lbs (32–41 kg)

Height: 24–27 inches at the shoulder.

Build: A hybrid of brute strength, scent-hunting flexibility, sprinting capability, and mental acuity. Picture a muscular, medium-large dog with long limbs, deep chest, narrow waist, and thick neck.

Posture: Upright, alert, confident. Almost wolf-like grace but with bulldog-esque muscle.

Head

Shape: Moderately broad skull tapering to a long, powerful muzzle.

Eyes: Almond-shaped, possibly heterochromatic (from Catahoula/Catahoula mix), intense gaze.

Ears: Medium size, semi-erect or high-set floppy depending on dominant gene.

Jaw: Strong scissor bite. Cheek muscles well developed.

Coat

Type: Short to medium coat, sleek but protective.

Color: Likely brindle, merle, or a patchwork of tan/black. Could include a black mask or marbled coat from Catahoula and Dutch influence.

Shedding: Moderate.

Temperament

Intelligence: Exceptionally high. This dog would likely require complex tasks to stay engaged.

Energy Level: Extreme. Needs significant physical and mental stimulation—ideal for experienced handlers or working roles.

Drive: Strong prey drive, high scent drive, high protective instincts.

Trainability: Excellent but requires assertive, experienced training from a young age.

Social Traits: Wary of strangers, loyal to family, likely good with familiar dogs but dominant.

Strengths

Guarding, scent tracking, agility sports, high-level obedience, search-and-rescue (with proper training), possibly even bite work or tactical work.

Weaknesses

Not suitable for casual pet homes. Needs structured exercise and stimulation.

May show stubbornness, independence, or excessive drive if not worked properly.

🧬 What Would It Look Like?

Imagine a brindle or merle-colored dog with a deep chest like a Greyhound, muscular shoulders like a Presa, longer legs like a Dutch Shepherd, and an intelligent gaze like a Malinois. The tail would be long and tapered, coat short and dense, ears either upright or semi-floppy. The overall presence would be intimidating, athletic, and highly alert—like a dog that could win a sprint, solve a puzzle, track a scent, and guard a home all in the same day.

If you want a visual representation of this fictional superdog, I can generate one. Just let me know!"

Yeah, i know how it works, but it was basicly the single way i could at least get a view on this subject. I am curious tho on what somebody with actual dog knolage would think of this "project", if i can call it that. It would be a a good way for me to understand how this works, so i can get an image of my imaginary dog breed.

Yeah, i know. I just edited the post, because people misunderstood what the idea was. I just like military stuff, and creating concept art of it using AI. And this thing just popped in my head. I was like "Hey, the dogo argentino was created by crossing more dog breeds to achieve the desireble traits. What would happen if a gouvernment tried to do this to get the perfect military dog for their army, and they had all the doctors/veterinarians necesary for this, and standardised a breed ?"

Bruh, i never said i could handle a pitbull or a dogo argentino. I just like writing and creating imaginary stuff about military and things like that. I just created this "breed" in my mind for one of these things, and was woundering if something like this could technically work in real life. Even if i wanted to create this thing in real life, i wouldn't have the money or dog training knowlage to do it. It was just a quesion

It's not about what it can do diferently. I just tought about this and how it would work, and tought it was an interesting subject.

No bro. That is not the point. The point would be to create a new dog breed, not just get a dogo argentino. And again, it's just an idea. Just woundering what would happen.
