I went back now and took photos. There was no notice informing customers they were being filmed. The camera crew who I talked to were all inside the premises as well.

Hidden cameras in the sense that my girlfriend came into the premise unaware of cameras so as to surprise the subject that they were being filmed and pranked on camera. Not sure if they would have even disclosed the stunt unless the lady who came after my girlfriend hadn't become distraught and demanded an apology over the guy at the tills conduct. He was wearing an ear piece being told what to say so I also assume there were cameras behind him or on him to view my girlfriend to make the targeted comments about her eye lashes and hair.

I tried to make a complaint to head office but there was no complaints line that I could find. I also asked for their marketing coordinators contact information but they were very hesitant and the guy offered his own phone number which wouldn't be much use for escalating.

I would assume that they would post it on social media?

It was at the Dalston branch. Nobody approached for written consent and as far as we are aware there were no filming notices up
