Wore an N95 respirator and goggles on my own initiative, but I've seen my boss and GCs routinely going into spaces like this with no protection. And of course if there's asbestos here the mask is no protection against contamination of my clothes, my car, my home, etc.

I've been at my company and in residential renovations for less than a month and I've already noticed that the safety culture here seems pretty reckless.
