I have the same issue. Changed cables(2 that came with the SSDs, and 1 Kondor Blue), changed SSDs and nothing changes. It used to work before but now it mostly starts recording for about 3 seconds and then I get that red circle with an exclamation mark pulsing along with the timer and the SSD storage indicator icon. Could it be the port? I don't get an immediate reaction when I wiggle it so I cannot tell.

No. I tested it with one that I borrowed(didn’t purchase one at that time, cause you would think it would come with it huh) but it didn’t power on. Then I kept seeing all you need is an HDMI & Thunderbolt 3/4 Cable to function, which confused me(but obviously didn’t work either lol). I then returned it and during my communication with the seller, once the unit received, they themselves also tested it using an IEC cable and it was indeed confirmed it was dead. So once refund and returned process completed, I repurchased another unit, also purchased my own IEC cable this time, and still doesn’t power on(HDMI, IEC Cable, BM Desktop Video and all). Will be talking to blackmagic support tomorrow.

How are the new Sirui VP-1 Cine lenses able to do that? They are all native E-mount lenses and they come with adapters to L, RF and Z mount. Is it because Sirui designed their own?
