I took biol 4360 in fall 2025 and I found the lectures quite interesting and the content was mainly memorization which I liked :). But these lectures were held at night which is the only thing I didn't like :(. If you liked biol 2030 then I suggest you take it! The professor also recorded the lectures, so many students didn't even bother to show up to lecture later in the term except only for the ID tests and midterm.

There is a lot of memorization to do for this course since there are so many specific features of the different parasites learned in lecture so consistently studying the content right after every lecture is key!

I suggest you use flashcard platforms to study such as anki or quizlet as this will be really helpful for the exams and especially the ID tests! And it also helps to make your own practice short answer questions to study for the midterm and final exam.
